Twice I seriously injured my back at work, in 1996 and in 2004. Both times the insurance companies fought me every step of the way. Luckily, I had Yellin & Hyman on my side to fight back. My cases were tried before a judge and I received all of the workers' compensation benefits I was entitled to receive. I was very pleased with the results and eventually both cases resolved by way of settlement, the last one for $100,000. Yellin & Hyman also handled my claim for Social Security Disability benefits, appealing my denial all the way to the United States Court of Appeals.
